Christopher and Mary Sultze, of Appleton, Wisconsin were both charged earlier this month with a felony count of child neglect. The couple face up to a year in prison and a $25,000 fine if convicted.

(Associated Press) - An Ohio woman and three others have been charged in the death of her 14-year-old daughter, who had cerebral palsy and weighed 28 pounds when she died.
The Montgomery County coroner’s office ruled that the girl died March 1 from nutritional and medical neglect complicated by her chronic condition. She died minutes after paramedics rushed her to a hospital.

The mother took her other child, four, with her to walk a mile to the nearest petrol station after their car came to a halt, but left Sky Metalwala buckled into his car seat in the unlocked vehicle.

(Daily Mail By RACHEL QUIGLY) - The body of a newborn baby boy that was found in a trash can at a Salvation Army store bathroom is believed to have been delivered alive and subsequently strangled.
Police were called to the store in Streamwood, Chicago, after an employee found some blood on the bathroom floor and then the body, which was inside a plastic bag with its umbilical chord still attached.
