(Ben Schmitt, Reuters) - A Roman Catholic priest was arrested on charges he viewed child pornography in the rectory of his Pittsburgh-area church, the diocese said on Sunday.
The Rev. Bartley Sorensen, 62, pastor of St. John Fisher Church in Churchill, Pennsylvania, was arraigned on charges of possession of child pornography, a third-degree felony, according to the Diocese of Pittsburgh. [Click to read more…]

(Daily Mail By MICHAEL ZENNIE) - Two former players say the longtime CEO of the Amateur Athletic Union, which oversees more than half a million children, sexually abused them when they were teenage boys.
The two accusers claim the molestation occurred when Bobby Dodd was the head of a youth athletics program in Memphis, Tennessee, in the 1980s — before he took the helm of the Amateur Athletic Union.

(Daily Mail By RACHEL QUIGLEY) - A married grade school teacher sexually assaulted a 15-year-old boy, luring him to her car during halftime at a football game where she showed him a box of condoms before taking off her clothes and having sex with him.
Julie Ann Moore, 34, from Potter County, Texas, turned herself in after a month-long investigation uncovered the sexual relationship with the Amarillo High School student.

(Huffington Post) - Stephanie Rochester, a 35-year-old Superior, Colo. mother accused of smothering her 6-month-old son because she believed he had autism, will not face first-degree murder and child abuse charges, The Denver Post reports.
Stan Garnett, Boulder County District Attorney, says that he does not think prosecutors would be able to prove that she was sane at the time of the 2010 killing.

Authorities say little Nalaya lived her short life in a home where her caretakers blew marijuana smoke in her face to make her sleep and beat her and shook her when she ‘whined.’

(Daily Mail) - Two women are accused of using a baby as a weapon by wildly swinging the baby’s car seat at security guards after they were stopped for allegedly shoplifting.
Jodie Willis, 25, and 21-year-old Megan Kelley, of Orlando, Florida, are also accused of trying to use the shopping cart, with Kelley’s baby daughter in it in a car seat, to push past the guards when they were first stopped at the city’s Walmart store.
