(Daily Mail BY MIKE O’BRIEN) - A man was charged with murder, assault and criminal possession of a weapon on Monday after his step-daughter was shot dead and his wife, who was shot in the head, was left in a critical condition.

Guerino Annarumma, of Queens, New York, is accused of shooting his wife Olga Annaurmma, 57, and her daughter Valeria Kuzmina, 25, in their apartment just hours before they were due in court to finalize their divorce.

(Pat Prescott, Newsoxy) - A woman in Michigan has filed a lawsuit over a smelly used car she bought that contained the odor of a dead body.

(Huffington Post) - Stephanie Rochester, a 35-year-old Superior, Colo. mother accused of smothering her 6-month-old son because she believed he had autism, will not face first-degree murder and child abuse charges, The Denver Post reports.

(Daily Mail) - A wealthy chiropractor who has been in practice for more than 20 years and his wife were living in a $1.2million waterfront home while claiming almost $2,000-a-month welfare benefits and even food stamps, according to documents.

A civil lawsuit has been filed against David Silverstein and Lyudmila Shimonova, from Seattle, who are accused of making false claims  which included more than $1,200 in public housing vouchers, plus state and government disability cheques and even food stamps.

(Associated Press) - A transgender Virginia inmate has appealed the dismissal of her lawsuit asking the state to pay for her to have a sex change operation, saying a jury should decide if hormones and other therapies she receives are adequate.

U.S. District Judge James Turk tossed out Ophelia De’Lonta’s lawsuit in October, saying the state was adequately treating her gender identity disorder, a mental diagnosis in which people believe they were born the wrong sex.

(Associated Press By TODD RICHMOND) - The Wisconsin office that regulates attorney conduct asked the state Supreme Court on Wednesday to suspend a former prosecutor’s law license for trying to spark an affair with a domestic abuse victim through a barrage of racy text messages and allegedly making sexual remarks to a number of other women.

The Office of Lawyer Regulation filed a complaint with the court alleging former Calumet County District Attorney Ken Kratz violated multiple attorney conduct rules. The office recommended the justices suspend his law license for six months.
