(Daily Mail By NICK PISA) - An Italian judge was booed and jeered by Mafia mobsters after he condemned 110 of them to more than 1,000 years in jail after a massive show trial.
Judge Roberto Arnaldi could barely be heard above the whistling and cat calls from the gangsters who were held in special cages in a bomb proof court room which was surrounded by dozens of armed police as the year-long hearing ended in uproar.

(Daily Mail) - Another blogger has been beheaded by a drug cartel as a warning for those who use social media to report illegal activities and tip off police.
The moderator of a social network was left under a blood-stained blanket with a note pinned to it which read: ’This happened to me for not understanding that I shouldn’t report on the social networks.’

(Washington Times BY AMANDA COMAK) - Washington Nationals catcher Wilson Ramos was kidnapped near his home in Valencia, Venezuela, on Wednesday, a source close to Ramos‘ family confirmed to The Washington Times.
Ramos, 24, was with his family at the time of the incident but was the only one taken. The source said the family had informed police and was awaiting a call from kidnappers.

(KFOX By JACOB RASCON) - Socorro police and the FBI are looking for four men who police say attacked and raped an elderly man who was out on his early-morning walk.
Investigators said the 70-year-old was walking Thursday around 6 a.m. at Valle del Sol Park on Valle Rico Road and Valle Fertil when they said four black men got out of a late-’90s Ford or Chevrolet van or minivan and demanded the Mexican-American man to give them money.

(CBS Los Angeles By TOM REOPELLE) - A pair of Southland street cart vendors who were forced to shut down their businesses after “Occupy” protesters vandalized their carts are hoping to get some help from local residents.
KNX 1070′s Tom Reopelle reports a fundraiser in the Gas Lamp district in San Diego on Monday night is aimed at helping two vendors get back on their feet.

(CBS Chicago) - A frightening warning has been issued on the city’s Northwest Side, about men who have been knocking on doors posing as undercover Chicago Police officers.
As CBS 2’s Mike Puccinelli reports, Grand Central Area detectives say in three separate incidents in the Irving Park, Mayfair and Jefferson Park neighborhoods, the men, ranging in age from about 18 to 36, knocked on the homes of doors and told homeowners they were police officers or undercover officers.

(Breitbart) - Paris police have arrested around 20 Christian fundamentalists who burst into a theatre and threw stink bombs to protest against a play featuring the face of Christ drizzled with fake excrement.
Police made the arrests at the Theatre de la Ville, on the banks of the Seine near Notre Dame cathedral, during a performance of “On the Concept of the Face, Regarding the Son of God”, directed by Italian Romeo Castellucci.

(Daily Mail By GAVIN ALLEN) - A father-of-three was beaten to a bloody pulp by a gang of as many as 15 thugs who stole his wedding ring and mobile phone.
Joseph Frederic, 38, was punched to the ground before the gang repeatedly kicked him and stamped on his head.
