In a new promotional photo for season 7, which premiers on June 27, Mary-Louise Parker is wearing handcuffs, chains and not much else. The cable drama is about a suburban housewife who has become a marijuana dealer after her husband’s unexpected death and subsequent financial woes. The show, which premiered in 2005 was originally  set in the fictional town of Agrestic, California.  During the sixth season, the family relocates to Seattle, Washington before moving to Dearborn, Michigan.

The series won Parker a Best Actress Golden Globe in 2006. She was also nominated for the award in 2007 and 2008. Prior to Weeds, she was probably best known on screen as the political activist Amy Gardner in The West Wing.
